About AIDAbella

AIDAbella is the second Sphinx class ship, built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg and handed over in Emden on 14 April 2008. Model Eva Padberg christened her on the Warnow in Warnemünde on 23 April 2008, and her maiden voyage the next day ran from Warnemünde to Bergen, Oslo, Gothenburg and Copenhagen. She was the third and last of the original Sphinx ships to go through the AIDA Evolution refit, at the Chantier Naval yard in Marseille from January to March 2026, which renovated the cabins and added the French Kiss restaurant, the Lanai Bar and a Sky Deck reserved for suite guests. Meals in the Markt and Yachtclub buffets, the French Kiss and Almhütte restaurants, Best Pizza @ Sea and the French Kiss Bar & Bistro and Tapas & Bar snack bars are included in the fare. Rossini, the Buffalo Steak House and East Fusion charge for food.
