About AIDAluna

AIDAluna is the third Sphinx class ship, handed over by Meyer Werft on 16 March 2009. After a 14 day maiden voyage from Hamburg she was christened in Palma de Mallorca on 4 April 2009 by model Franziska Knuppe. In 2014, during a yard stay at Blohm + Voss in Hamburg, she became the first ship of her class fitted with an exhaust cleaning system. Her AIDA Evolution refit in Marseille ran from late October to early December 2025 and added the French Kiss restaurant, the Lanai Bar, a Fun Park with a climbing tower, a redesigned kids club and a Sky Deck for suite guests. She shares her dining lineup with AIDAdiva and AIDAbella: the Markt and Yachtclub buffets and the French Kiss, Almhütte and Best Pizza @ Sea restaurants are included in the fare, while Rossini, the Buffalo Steak House and East Fusion charge for food.
