AIDAperla is the second and last Hyperion class ship, built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Nagasaki and delivered on 27 April 2017. Model and presenter Lena Gercke christened her on 30 June 2017, with the older AIDAaura alongside. Like AIDAprima she has a dual fuel engine that can run on LNG, a Beach Club pool area under a membrane dome, an infinity pool and a shopping area over two decks. Her dining lineup matches AIDAprima's: the Markt, Bella Donna, East, Fuego and Weite Welt buffets, the Brauhaus, the French Kiss Brasserie, Ristorante Casa Nova, Scharfe Ecke and Tapas & Bar are included in the fare, while Rossini, the Buffalo Steak House, the vegan restaurant and the Sushi Bar charge for food.
