About AIDAstella

AIDAstella was the last of the seven Sphinx class ships, handed over by Meyer Werft on 11 March 2013 and christened in Warnemünde on 16 March 2013 by eight AIDA employees, joined by one woman each from the shipyard and the design firm Partnership Design. She was the first AIDA ship designed for shore power from the yard and the first in the fleet with a ballast water treatment system. Like AIDAblu, AIDAsol and AIDAmar she has the enlarged layout with an onboard brewery, and AIDA plans to refit all four by 2028. Meals in the Markt, Bella Donna and East buffets, the Brauhaus and Best Burger @ Sea are included in the fare, while Rossini, the Buffalo Steak House and the Sushi Bar charge for food.
