About Carnival Mardi Gras

Carnival Mardi Gras launched in 2021 and marked the biggest leap in Carnival history. At 180,000 GT she's nearly 40% larger than anything the line had built before. The headliner is BOLT, the first roller coaster at sea, which runs along an 800-foot track on the top deck. But the real innovation might be the zone system: six distinct themed areas (Grand Central, French Quarter, La Piazza, Summer Landing, Lido, and the Ultimate Playground) replaced the traditional open-plan layout. LNG propulsion makes her one of the cleanest-burning large ships afloat.
