If you want the classic cruise without a massive time commitment, this is a strong option. 7 nights from Port Canaveral on December 26, 2026, visiting Nassau, Half Moon Cay, Puerto Plata (Amber Cove) and Celebration Key. The pace alternates neatly: port day, sea day, port day, sea day. 4 stops with a breather between each one. The Bahamas are close enough for a quick trip and warm enough that it always feels worth it. Most ports give you about 9 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, Carnival Mardi Gras has 16 dining spots on board, most of them included. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
