Sapphire Princess debuted in 2004 as the sister ship to Diamond Princess, built at the same Nagasaki shipyard. She carries around 2,670 passengers at 115,900 gross tons and shares the same layout, though she's spent more time in Western markets sailing the Mediterranean, Alaska, and Australia.
