Sea days bookend the port visits. You settle in, see the ports, then have time to wind down before heading home. From Bergen's coloured waterfront to the fjords beyond, this is Scandinavia doing what it does best. Most ports give you about 9 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Mein Schiff 7 launched in 2024, so everything on board is still new. You can tell. 14 nights is long enough to build a routine on board: favourite restaurant, favourite deck chair, favourite people. It starts to feel like a floating village. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
