Alaska Adventure – Ketchikan & Glaciers
About this cruise
If you want the classic cruise without a massive time commitment, this is a strong option. 7 nights from Vancouver on July 9, 2027, visiting Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Sitka, Skagway, Hubbard Glacier and Seward. Last stop: Seward. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. Glaciers calving into the water, bald eagles overhead, and air that smells like pine. It's a different kind of cruise. Most ports give you about 8 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, There are 15 restaurants on Anthem of the Seas, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 7 nights. It's peak season, so the weather is at its best and the ship will be full. That's part of the fun. Good route, good ship, good timing. It all lines up.
