Alaska Explorer – Ketchikan & Glaciers
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Vancouver on May 14, 2027 visits Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Sitka, Skagway, Hubbard Glacier and Seward. Disembarkation is in Seward. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 6 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Glaciers, whales, snow-capped mountains. Alaska is about as far from a beach holiday as you can get. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Seward, Where the mountains dive into the sea. Roughly 8 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, Anthem of the Seas has 15 dining spots on board, most of them included. And May is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
