Alaska Frontier – Ketchikan & Glaciers
About this cruise
Long enough to properly switch off but not so long you need to reorganise your entire life. This 7-night sailing from Vancouver on August 6, 2027 visits Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Sitka, Skagway, Hubbard Glacier and Seward. You get off in Seward, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 6 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. You're essentially sailing through a nature documentary. Pack layers. Don't rush through Icy Strait Point, which is known as Wilderness at the edge of the Inside Passage. Roughly 8 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. You won't go hungry on Anthem of the Seas. 7 restaurants come with the fare, plus 8 more when you feel like treating yourself. And August means long, warm days. Good for the ports, good for the pool. All told, 6 ports across 7 nights covers a lot.
