Alaskan Fjords & Islands – Ketchikan to Victoria
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Seattle on September 6, 2027 visits Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau and Victoria. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Glaciers calving into the water, bald eagles overhead, and air that smells like pine. It's a different kind of cruise. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Victoria, English gardens on Canada's Pacific coast. With about 6 hours at each port, you'll want a plan, or at least a shortlist. MSC Poesia has 5 restaurants on board, which means you could eat somewhere different nearly every night. Seattle itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. The autumn timing is underrated too. Good weather, calmer seas, and a more relaxed ship. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
