Alaskan to Hawaiian – Juneau & Maui
About this cruise
If you've got 16 nights to work with, this sailing from Vancouver on September 1, 2026 through Ketchikan, Juneau and Icy Strait Point, with additional stops along the Hawaii is genuinely one of the better ways to spend them. Disembarkation is in Honolulu. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Volcanic peaks, rainforest, good surf. Hawaii is Hawaii. It doesn't need much explaining. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Honolulu, Waikiki's crescent beneath Diamond Head. Around 11 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Norwegian Spirit takes the food seriously, with 13 restaurants to choose from. 6 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. There are enough performances, events, and social mixers on a cruise this length that you couldn't do them all if you tried. And that's a good problem. This one's for people who really want to switch off. No half measures. Block out the calendar. The autumn timing is underrated too. Good weather, calmer seas, and a more relaxed ship. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
