Alaskan Wilderness – Icy Strait & Juneau
About this cruise
9 nights is that sweet spot where you actually start to relax. This sailing from Seattle on September 16, 2027 visits Icy Strait Point, Juneau, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, Ketchikan and Victoria and doesn't try to cram in too much. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Ketchikan, Totem poles, rain, and wild salmon. Around 9 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Carnival Spirit takes the food seriously, with 9 restaurants to choose from. 6 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. This length suits most people. Enough time to settle in and actually unwind, without the trip dragging on. The autumn timing is underrated too. Good weather, calmer seas, and a more relaxed ship. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
