Alaskan Wilderness – Juneau & Glacier Bay
About this cruise
You board in Seattle on July 4, 2027 for 7 nights visiting Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, Ketchikan and Victoria, and you come back from this kind of trip wondering why you don't do it more often. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Even the open-water days are scenic here, with mountains on either side and blue ice in the distance. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Ketchikan, Totem poles, rain, and wild salmon. Around 8 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Norwegian Encore takes the food seriously, with 20 restaurants to choose from. 7 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
