A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Marseille on October 1, 2027 visits Genoa, Civitavecchia (Rome), Palermo, Ibiza and Valencia. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Hot coastline, hilltop villages, and very good food. That's the Western Med in a sentence. Don't rush through Genoa, which is known as Columbus' birthplace, a labyrinth of caruggi. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, MSC Musica has 4 dining spots on board, most of them included. And October is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too.
