Atlantic Crossing – Paris, Azores & NYC
About this cruise
17 nights starts to feel like a proper adventure. You leave Southampton on September 21, 2027 and the route takes you through Le Havre (Paris), A Coruña and Vigo, with additional stops along the Western Mediterranean at a pace where there's never any need to rush. Disembarkation is in Miami. You do all the exploring first, then the last few days are at sea. It's like a built-in wind-down. Crossing 4 borders through the Western Mediterranean: France, Spain, Portugal and United States. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Leixões (Porto), Port wine cellars on the Douro's banks. Around 11 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Norwegian Jewel takes the food seriously, with 13 restaurants to choose from. 6 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. There are enough performances, events, and social mixers on a cruise this length that you couldn't do them all if you tried. And that's a good problem. This one's for people who really want to switch off. No half measures. Block out the calendar. The autumn timing is underrated too. Good weather, calmer seas, and a more relaxed ship. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
