Azure Escapades – Virgin Gorda & Martinique
About this cruise
Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 14-night sailing from La Romana on September 6, 2027 visits Catalina Island, Virgin Gorda Island BVI and Philipsburg, with additional stops along the Caribbean. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. It's a proper Caribbean tour: 7 countries, from Dominican Republic to Guadeloupe. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, MSC Opera has 4 dining spots on board, most of them included. By night three you start recognising faces; by night ten you're swapping numbers. That's the magic of a longer sailing. Being shoulder season helps: golden light, comfortable weather, and shorter queues at the popular spots. 14 nights of not thinking about anything except where to eat next. That's the pitch.
