Azure Escape – Funchal & Tenerife
About this cruise
You board in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on January 15, 2027 for 7 nights visiting Santa Cruz de la Palma, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Puerto del Rosario, Funchal and Arrecife, and you come back from this kind of trip wondering why you don't do it more often. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Black-sand beaches on one island, dense laurel forests on another. The Canaries are surprisingly varied. Arrecife stands out. It's Lanzarote's lunar landscapes meet the Atlantic. Around 11 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. MSC Fantasia takes the food seriously, with 5 restaurants to choose from. 2 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. A January sailing is basically an excuse to chase the sun for a week or two. All in all, it's a solid trip.
