This is the kind of trip that just works. 5 nights from Jacksonville, visiting Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay, sailing March 29, 2027, and nothing about it feels forced. Sea days bookend the port visits. You settle in, see the ports, then have time to wind down before heading home. The Bahamas are close enough for a quick trip and warm enough that it always feels worth it. Most ports give you about 9 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, There are 6 restaurants on Carnival Elation, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 5 nights. A spring departure helps too: decent weather and a calmer feel at each port. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
