Blink of Blue – Grand Bahama & Nassau
About this cruise
This is the kind of trip that just works. 4 nights from Jacksonville, visiting Celebration Key and Nassau, sailing December 26, 2026, and nothing about it feels forced. That gives you 2 days in port and 1 at sea, enough of each to find a rhythm. The Bahamas are close enough for a quick trip and warm enough that it always feels worth it. Roughly 7 hours per stop. More of a sampler than a deep dive. As for the ship itself, Carnival Elation takes the food seriously, with 6 restaurants to choose from. 5 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. Good for anyone who can't take two weeks off but still wants the cruise experience. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Jacksonville has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. Good route, good ship, good timing. It all lines up.
