Caribbean Island Getaway – Martinique & St. Maarten
About this cruise
If you want the classic cruise without a massive time commitment, this is a strong option. 7 nights from Fort-de-France on January 16, 2027, visiting Pointe-à-Pitre, Philipsburg, St. John's, Basseterre and Roseau. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. Crossing 5 borders through the Caribbean: Guadeloupe, Sint Maarten, Antigua & Barbuda, St. Kitts & Nevis and Dominica. You'll notice the culture shift at every stop. Most ports give you about 12 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, MSC Seaview takes the food seriously, with 6 restaurants to choose from. 2 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. Pro tip: fly in the day before. Fort-de-France has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. You'll probably start planning the next one before this one's even over.
