Cobblestone & Colossus – Palermo, Mykonos & Ephesus
About this cruise
7 nights is that sweet spot where you actually start to relax. This sailing from Naples on October 8, 2028 visits Messina, Palermo, Souda (Chania), Kusadasi, Mykonos and Piraeus (Athens) and doesn't try to cram in too much. You finish in Piraeus (Athens). A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. It's a proper Eastern Mediterranean tour: 3 countries, from Italy to Türkiye. Palermo alone is worth the trip, Arab-Norman splendour in Sicily's capital. Around 11 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Sun Princess (2024) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. The autumn timing is underrated too. Good weather, calmer seas, and a more relaxed ship. Worth booking. That's the short version.
