Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 14-night sailing from Barcelona on May 28, 2028 visits Palma de Mallorca, Marseille and Genoa, with additional stops along the Western Mediterranean. You get off in Piraeus (Athens), which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. It's a proper Western Mediterranean tour: 5 countries, from Spain to Türkiye. Most ports give you about 12 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Sun Princess (2024) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. By night three you start recognising faces; by night ten you're swapping numbers. That's the magic of a longer sailing.
