Cobblestones to Palms – Barcelona, Madeira & San Juan
About this cruise
Every port gets the time it deserves and the sea days in between are half the fun. This 19-night sailing leaves Genoa on October 26, 2026 and visits La Spezia, Civitavecchia (Rome) and Palma de Mallorca, with additional stops along the Western Mediterranean. You get off in Port Canaveral, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. More sea than shore on this one, with 11 days on the water between stops. 5 countries (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Puerto Rico and United States) across the Western Mediterranean, each with its own character. Don't rush through La Spezia, which is known as Gateway to the pastel villages of Cinque Terre. Roughly 11 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. You won't go hungry on MSC Grandiosa. 1 restaurants come with the fare, plus 5 more when you feel like treating yourself. With more nights comes more time for the ship's rhythm to kick in: morning coffee in the same spot, evening shows, late-night conversations on deck. And October is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. All told, 8 ports across 19 nights covers a lot.
