Copper Dusk – Melbourne, Adelaide & Albany
About this cruise
Block out 11 nights from October 7, 2026 and let this sailing from Sydney do its thing. The route covers Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Albany, Busselton and Fremantle and there's plenty of room to breathe between each stop. You wind up in Fremantle, so it's worth planning a night or two there. In between port days, the 5 sea days are where cruise life actually happens: reading, eating, napping, repeat. Flat whites in Melbourne, coral at the Great Barrier Reef, and fjords in New Zealand. Hard to pick a highlight. Melbourne stands out. It's Culture, coffee, and laneway art. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. There are 13 restaurants on Crown Princess, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 11 nights. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. Sydney itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And October is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. All in all, it's a solid trip.
