Coral Spire Odyssey – Airlie Beach & Cairns
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 8-night sailing from Brisbane on March 8, 2027 visits Airlie Beach, Townsville, Port Douglas, Cairns and Willis Island. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Flat whites in Melbourne, coral at the Great Barrier Reef, and fjords in New Zealand. Hard to pick a highlight. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Cairns, The gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Grand Princess keeps you well fed. 10 places to eat, with 6 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. Long enough that you stop checking your phone. Short enough that you're not bored. If you can, add a night in Brisbane before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And March is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
