Dragon’s Voyage – Kobe, Busan & Hiroshima

About this cruise

10 nights is that sweet spot where you actually start to relax. This sailing from Tokyo on October 18, 2028 visits Nagoya, Kobe (Osaka) and Kochi, with additional stops along the Japan, Korea, China & Taiwan and doesn't try to cram in too much. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Bullet trains visible from the harbour, cherry blossoms, and thousands of years of history. East Asia is a lot to take in. Nagoya alone is worth the trip, Japan's automotive heart with castle grandeur. Around 9 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Diamond Princess takes the food seriously, with 12 restaurants to choose from. 7 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. There are enough performances, events, and social mixers on a cruise this length that you couldn't do them all if you tried. And that's a good problem. This length suits most people. Enough time to settle in and actually unwind, without the trip dragging on. The autumn timing is underrated too. Good weather, calmer seas, and a more relaxed ship. Worth booking. That's the short version.
