Epic Elegance – Riviera & Rome
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Marseille on July 9, 2026 visits Tarragona, Valencia, Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Civitavecchia (Rome) and Genoa. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Hot coastline, hilltop villages, and very good food. That's the Western Med in a sentence. People come back from this cruise talking about Livorno (Florence/Pisa): Tuscan art and the Leaning Tower await. Around 11 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, MSC Orchestra has 5 dining spots on board, most of them included. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. 5 ports, 2 countries, one suitcase. That's the appeal.
