Wine & Wonder – Riviera & Rome
About this cruise
Long enough to properly switch off but not so long you need to reorganise your entire life. This 7-night round-trip sailing from Marseille on July 16, 2026 visits Tarragona, Valencia, Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Civitavecchia (Rome) and Genoa. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Roman ruins at one stop, Renaissance piazzas at the next. Centuries of history at every quay. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Tuscan art and the Leaning Tower await. Roughly 11 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. MSC Orchestra keeps you well fed. 5 places to eat, with 3 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Marseille before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And July means long, warm days. Good for the ports, good for the pool. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
