Indigo Meridian – San Juan, Roatan & Cozumel
About this cruise
This is the kind of cruise where you actually have time to go back to a port highlight you missed the first time. 14 nights from Fort Lauderdale on December 6, 2026, visiting Celebration Key, San Juan, Puerto Plata (Amber Cove), Cozumel and Roatan Island. The final stretch is open ocean, which gives you time to process everything you've seen and use the ship one last time. The Caribbean route takes in Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Honduras, 5 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. You get around 9 hours in each port, which is enough for an excursion, lunch, and some wandering around on your own. When you're not ashore, Sun Princess (2024) is one of the newer ships out there, with current design and recent tech throughout. One of the underrated parts of a longer cruise: you actually get to know people. The couple from dinner, the group at trivia, the bartender who remembers your drink. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
