Island Paradise – Nassau & Puerto Plata
About this cruise
If you don't need a long holiday but still want to get out on the water, this is a solid pick. 5 nights from Miami on March 15, 2027, visiting Nassau and Puerto Plata (Amber Cove). There's a nice rhythm here: explore a port, recover at sea, do it again. You never feel rushed or restless. White sand, shallow turquoise flats, and easy island days. The Bahamas keep it simple. Nassau alone is worth the trip, Colonial charm meets Caribbean colour. Around 10 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. There are 14 restaurants on Freedom Of The Seas, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 5 nights. Miami itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. Timing-wise, spring usually means comfortable temperatures and lower prices than peak season. Worth booking. That's the short version.
