Island Serenity – Honolulu & Maui
About this cruise
Every port gets the time it deserves and the sea days in between are half the fun. This 16-night sailing leaves Seattle on September 21, 2027 and visits Honolulu, Nawiliwili, Kahului, Hilo and Victoria. The sea days come first, which means no rushing to get off the ship on day one. You hit the ports relaxed and ready. Each island feels different: Maui's beaches, the Big Island's lava fields, Kauai's cliffs. Honolulu stands out. It's Waikiki's crescent beneath Diamond Head. Roughly 11 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. Carnival Legend keeps you well fed. 8 places to eat, with 5 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. The shows alone are worth the extra nights. You'll catch comedy, music, theatre, and themed evenings you'd miss on a shorter trip. If you've done the short cruises and want more, this is the upgrade. Longer, deeper, and more relaxed. If you can, add a night in Seattle before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And September is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. All in all, it's a solid trip.
