Kiwi Coastline – Bay of Islands & Fiordland
About this cruise
11 nights starts to feel like a proper adventure. You leave Auckland on March 18, 2026 and the route takes you through Bay of Islands, Tauranga and Napier, with additional stops along the Australia & New Zealand at a pace where there's never any need to rush. You get off in Sydney, which is a good excuse to tack on a few days on land. You do all the exploring first, then the last few days are at sea. It's like a built-in wind-down. Sydney Opera House one day, Milford Sound's fjords another. The Antipodes reward the long flight. Don't rush through Tauranga, which is known as Gateway to geothermal wonders. Around 10 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. There are 14 restaurants on Celebrity Edge, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 11 nights. There are enough performances, events, and social mixers on a cruise this length that you couldn't do them all if you tried. And that's a good problem. Auckland itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. Timing-wise, spring usually means comfortable temperatures and lower prices than peak season. All told, 9 ports across 11 nights covers a lot.
