Expect a run of consecutive ports, 6 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. It's a proper Caribbean tour: 5 countries, from Dominican Republic to Mexico. Puerto Plata (Amber Cove) stands out. It's Dominican amber and Atlantic waves. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. MSC World America launched in 2025, so everything on board is still new. You can tell. With more nights comes more time for the ship's rhythm to kick in: morning coffee in the same spot, evening shows, late-night conversations on deck. And April is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. All in all, it's a solid trip.
