Mediterranean Escape – Barcelona, Ibiza & Tangier
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Barcelona on July 31, 2027 visits Palma de Mallorca, Tangier, Cádiz, Málaga and Ibiza. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Roman ruins at one stop, Renaissance piazzas at the next. Centuries of history at every quay. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Málaga, Picasso's birthplace on the Costa del Sol. Around 10 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Celebrity Xcel joined the Celebrity Cruises's lineup in 2025. Still has that new-ship feel. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Barcelona before boarding. It's a good city to wander. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
