Mediterranean Magic – Barcelona & Santorini
About this cruise
Long enough to properly switch off but not so long you need to reorganise your entire life. This 7-night round-trip sailing from Valletta on October 2, 2026 visits Barcelona, Marseille, Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Cagliari and Palermo. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. The route threads through 3 countries along the Western Mediterranean coast: Spain, France and Italy. Don't rush through Cagliari, which is known as Sardinia's sun-bleached capital of flamingos and fortresses. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. MSC Splendida has 6 restaurants on board, which means you could eat somewhere different nearly every night. Valletta itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And October is a good call. Still warm, less crowded, and usually cheaper too. All told, 5 ports across 7 nights covers a lot.
