Mediterranean Magic – Barcelona & Tunis
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Naples on August 15, 2026 visits Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Marseille, Barcelona, La Goulette (Tunis) and Palermo. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. The Western Mediterranean route takes in Italy, France, Spain and Tunisia, 4 countries, and the differences show up in the food, the architecture, and the mood. Don't rush through La Goulette (Tunis), which is known as Gateway to Carthage and the Tunis medina. Roughly 10 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. MSC Meraviglia keeps you well fed. 9 places to eat, with 3 included in the fare and a few specialty spots if you're in the mood. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. If you can, add a night in Naples before boarding. It's a good city to wander. And August means long, warm days. Good for the ports, good for the pool. All told, 5 ports across 7 nights covers a lot.
