Mediterranean Magic – Riviera & Barcelona
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Marseille on May 8, 2026 visits Genoa, Civitavecchia (Rome), Palermo, Ibiza and Barcelona. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Hot coastline, hilltop villages, and very good food. That's the Western Med in a sentence. Palermo stands out. It's Arab-Norman splendour in Sicily's capital. Around 10 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, MSC Seaview has 6 dining spots on board, most of them included. Timing-wise, spring usually means comfortable temperatures and lower prices than peak season. All in all, it's a solid trip.
