Mediterranean Riviera – Genoa & Marseille
About this cruise
No complicated itinerary, no back-to-back transfers, just the ports, the ship, and the sea in between. This 7-night sailing from Genoa on July 15, 2026 visits Marseille, Tarragona, Valencia, Livorno (Florence/Pisa) and Civitavecchia (Rome). A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. It's a proper Western Mediterranean tour: 3 countries, from France to Italy. Don't rush through Marseille, which is known as France's oldest city, salty and soulful. Around 11 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, MSC Orchestra has 5 dining spots on board, most of them included. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. All told, 5 ports across 7 nights covers a lot.
