Mediterranean Splendor – Rome, Malta & Barcelona
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Civitavecchia (Rome) on February 15, 2027 visits Messina, Valletta, Barcelona, Marseille and Genoa. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 5 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. 4 countries (Italy, Malta, Spain and France) across the Western Mediterranean, each with its own character. Don't rush through Marseille, which is known as France's oldest city, salty and soulful. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. MSC World Asia joined the MSC Cruises's lineup in 2026. Still has that new-ship feel. And a February cruise to warmer water? Hard to argue with that when it's cold at home. All told, 5 ports across 7 nights covers a lot.
