Mediterranean to Arabia – Barcelona & Doha
About this cruise
Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 20-night sailing from Barcelona on November 6, 2026 visits Marseille, Genoa and Civitavecchia (Rome), with additional stops along the Western Mediterranean. Disembarkation is in Doha. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. 8 countries (France, Italy, Malta, Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Oman and Qatar) across the Western Mediterranean, each with its own character. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, You won't go hungry on MSC World Europa. 4 restaurants come with the fare, plus 5 more when you feel like treating yourself. By night three you start recognising faces; by night ten you're swapping numbers. That's the magic of a longer sailing. Being shoulder season helps: golden light, comfortable weather, and shorter queues at the popular spots. You start in Barcelona and come back with stories from France, Italy, Malta, Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Oman and Qatar.
