Mercury Tides – Virgin Gorda & Curacao
About this cruise
Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 14-night sailing from La Romana on February 14, 2028 visits Catalina Island, Oranjestad and Willemstad, with additional stops along the Caribbean. There's a stretch of back-to-back port days, so those days are busy, but the sea days around them give you time to recharge. It's a proper Caribbean tour: 9 countries, from Dominican Republic to Antigua & Barbuda. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, From casual buffets to proper sit-down restaurants, MSC Opera has 4 dining spots on board, most of them included. 14 nights is long enough to build a routine on board: favourite restaurant, favourite deck chair, favourite people. It starts to feel like a floating village. 14 nights of not thinking about anything except where to eat next. That's the pitch.
