Meridian Arc – Rio, Tangier & Naples
About this cruise
Somewhere around day five the ship stops being transport and starts being home. This 21-night sailing from Santos on April 3, 2027 visits Rio de Janeiro, Buzios and Salvador, with additional stops along the Western Mediterranean. You finish in Naples. This one is as much about time on the ship as it is about the ports. 11 days at sea, so get comfortable. 5 countries (Brazil, Spain, Morocco, Tunisia and Italy) across the Western Mediterranean, each with its own character. Most ports give you about 10 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, You won't go hungry on MSC Virtuosa. 1 restaurants come with the fare, plus 6 more when you feel like treating yourself. By night three you start recognising faces; by night ten you're swapping numbers. That's the magic of a longer sailing. A spring departure helps too: decent weather and a calmer feel at each port. You'll probably start planning the next one before this one's even over.
