Navy Tides – Busan & Fukuoka
About this cruise
5 nights from Shanghai, visiting Hakata (Fukuoka) and Busan. It sails July 24, 2027 and it's the sort of trip where you come back saying "I needed that." The shape of this trip works well: open water on either side with 2 port calls clustered in the middle. Bullet trains visible from the harbour, cherry blossoms, and thousands of years of history. East Asia is a lot to take in. Hakata (Fukuoka) stands out. It's Tonkotsu ramen capital of Kyushu. Around 12 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. Spectrum Of The Seas takes the food seriously, with 13 restaurants to choose from. 6 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. Families and groups will find plenty to do: waterslides, shows, multiple pools, and something for every age. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. All in all, it's a solid trip.
