The ports come early and the voyage wraps with sea days. A good way to decompress before heading home. The Bahamas are close enough for a quick trip and warm enough that it always feels worth it. Most ports give you about 9 hours, so you can do more than just tick off the main sights. As for the ship itself, Odyssey Of The Seas takes the food seriously, with 13 restaurants to choose from. 6 are included, and the rest are worth the splurge. If you like having options (restaurants, bars, activities, entertainment), a big ship delivers that. Pro tip: fly in the day before. New York has plenty to offer, and you'll board relaxed instead of rushed. Hard to ask for much more than that, honestly.
