The kind of trip that's easy to say yes to and hard to regret. 7 nights from Southampton on May 8, 2027, visiting Haugesund, Ålesund, Skjolden and Stavanger. Expect a run of consecutive ports, 4 stops total, with the busiest days packed close together. The sea days around them feel earned. Midnight sun, Viking history, and landscapes that look photoshopped but aren't. Ålesund stands out. It's Art Nouveau architecture on a Norwegian fjord. With about 8 hours at each port, you'll want a plan, or at least a shortlist. There are 8 restaurants on Sky Princess, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 7 nights. Southampton itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And May is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. All in all, it's a solid trip.
