Obsidian Edge – Roatan & Quintana Roo
About this cruise
A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from Galveston on July 12, 2026 visits Costa Maya, Roatan Island and Cozumel. The sea days come first, which means no rushing to get off the ship on day one. You hit the ports relaxed and ready. Port to port, the water changes colour and the music changes too. That's the fun of it. Of the stops, Cozumel tends to be the one people talk about: Mexico's Caribbean island of Mayan mystery. Roughly 9 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. There are 8 restaurants on MSC Seascape, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 7 nights. Galveston itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And July means long, warm days. Good for the ports, good for the pool. Sometimes the best trips are the ones you just go ahead and book.
