Obsidian Shore – Kahului, Hilo & Kona
About this cruise
You board in Honolulu on June 19, 2027 for 7 nights visiting Kahului, Hilo, Kailua-Kona and Nawiliwili, and you come back from this kind of trip wondering why you don't do it more often. A few ports come in quick succession, which is great for sightseeing but means you'll appreciate the sea days when they arrive. Lei greetings, luau evenings, and ocean that somehow never stops being blue. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Kahului, Maui's gateway to the Road to Hana. Around 10 hours per port on average, which is generous enough to go beyond the obvious. You won't go hungry on Pride of America. 5 restaurants come with the fare, plus 8 more when you feel like treating yourself. The timing works well too: warm evenings on deck, late sunsets, and a lively atmosphere. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
