A week or so at sea, a few great ports, and nothing to organise once you're on board. This 7-night sailing from New Orleans on May 24, 2026 visits Key West, Celebration Key and Nassau. Ports up front, sea days at the end. By the time you're back in New Orleans, you'll feel properly rested rather than rushed. White sand, shallow turquoise flats, and easy island days. The Bahamas keep it simple. If one port sticks with you, it'll probably be Nassau, Colonial charm meets Caribbean colour. Roughly 8 hours ashore per stop. No need to rush. There are 10 restaurants on Carnival Liberty, so you'd need to double up a few evenings to try them all in 7 nights. New Orleans itself is worth spending some time in. Don't just treat it as a departure point. And May is a good time to go. Mild weather, things starting to bloom, and fewer people than summer. It's the kind of trip you actually remember afterwards.
